Area V: Reflection
Students can share pros and cons of using the internet to learn about another culture, interact with peers in another country sharing the same career goals, and how this experience has affected them personally. For week 1 comment on how you feel about beginning this project- are you nervous, excited, scared, unsure?

Cathy:
This first week each of you can comment on your thoughts about what this experience will be like. Are you nervous? Are you excited? Are you both nervous and excited
Gregory:
I am both excited and confident that this will be a rewarding experience for all of us. I would appreciate input from anyone on their ideas about who will make the ideal candidates to include in our study. Talk with you soon!!
Cora:
I am nervous and excited. I am not really sure of how to go about picking people to test for our reference ranges, but I am sure with the added help we are sure to find a solution. Even though I am a bit nervous, I cannot help to be excited about such an interesting project. I believe that working with students from a different culture will be fun and beneficial. Hope to speak with you all soon. :)
Meghan:
I am both excited and nervous about this upcoming project. I think that it will be interesting and exciting to work with people from another culture on this project. I am sure together we can come up with the perfect "patients" for our study to be a success.
Sylvia:
I’m excited about this project. I think it will be beneficial to everyone involved. We have a wide arrange of age groups just in our class so it should not be a problem getting the perfect reference ranges.
Morgan:
I have very positive expectations about this project. I am excited to discuss the reference ranges between the two cultures. I believe this project will be an experience of a lifetime!
I am very excited about this project! I hope we all learn valuable information from it. It will be very interesting to see the similarites and differences in our countries' ways of life. Hope to meet you all soon.

Lisa
Excited to be doing this project with you!!!
MJ;
BY HAVING NO FEEDBACK IT IS TO SOON TO SAY HOW I FEEL.
Im excited because its a great way of sharing ideas and appreciating each other's input.I questioned myself some time back why we have to use reference ranges from other foreign countries instead of our own:so I believe the success of this project will be of great deal for all of us.
Eric:
I'm excited about getting into the project. I'm still learning my way around the blogging process.
Jessica
Iam excited to learn more about you and you home and how your lab works
Here is an email I received from Sal:
Hope you remember me,Salome. It has been quite some time without communication but I hope you have been well.I am also doing great;just completed my coarsework from college and waiting to gratuate. This will take place in December. It applies to all the students who were undertaking the project.
I'm writting to let you know that we really encountered a big problem as we were collecting data for our project.Earlier, I had told you that the beuracracy was long but the relevant authories could not allow us continue with the project for the reason that we are undergraduates and that kind of research is done by masters(postgraduate) students. To face the ethical commitee from the hospital we were collecting data from we were required to pay some charges of which many students felt they could not afford. It is with great regrets that we cannot proceed with the project as agreed.
What I suggest and feel is that this should not make us cut communication and as of the blog,we can continue exchanging other relevant information we get between your students and us;especially on culture.
Hope to hear from you soon.Bye.
